Text Box: The Program It all starts with the selection of the proper horse based on skill and ability.  Then, under the watchful eye of the instructor, the participants will learn how to catch and saddle the horse for the days activities.  During the week, camp participants will learn how to maintain the health of the horse, groom, clean tack and of course, ride the horse! The week will also include various other camping activities such as arts and crafts, sports, etc.   Safety The aim of the program is to provide fun in a safe learning environment.  Riding helmets are mandatory.  If you do not have your own, one will be provided.  Proper footwear is also essential.  Boots with a heel no smaller than 1/2" and no higher than 2" are required.
